Our trains
The Railway Museum owns more than 300 railway vehicles. Many of these are used in our train service, where you can both look at, experience and ride with them. Those are the railway vehicles that are presented below.

Steam locomotives
The steam locomotive was the first useful type of locomotive.

Electric locomotives
An electric locomotive is a vehicle powered by electricity supplied along the railway track by catenary or busbar.

Diesel locomotives
Diesel locomotives are locomotives powered by some type of internal combustion engine, usually a piston engine.

Railbuses and trolleys
A railbus is a motor vehicle for a railway. Trolleys are used for maintenance and inspection.

Several of our trains carry passengers.

Freight wagons
A freight wagon is a railway wagon intended solely for transporting goods.
